NueMD ICD-10 Code Lookup Tool Adds Autocomplete

Earlier this year we launched our ICD-10 Training Lab, a suite of tools designed to help you prepare for the transition to ICD-10. Now with the transition behind us, we’ve decided to refocus our efforts into making improvements to the ICD-10 code lookup tool in order to provide you with an even better user experience.

Autocomplete for ICD-10 Codes
Our latest update, released earlier this week, makes it even easier to find the ICD-10 codes you’re looking for with the addition of our new autocomplete feature. Much like conducting a search on Google or Bing, entering the first few characters of your desired ICD-10 code will now provide you with a drop-down list of codes containing those characters. You can even drill down to more specific codes by clicking on the “more specific” button directly within the drop-down menu. And if you want to see the full code description and ICD-10 to ICD-9 translation, clicking on the code itself will take you directly to the conversion page.

Future enhancements
As we continue making updates to provide you with a great user experience, here are a few enhancements we plan to release early in 2016:

  • Additional auto complete improvements – search by description or by ICD-10 code
  • Optimized training games  enjoy a better experience while playing your favorite ICD-10 games
  • Improved saved codes experience – quickly save, organize, and reference the codes you use most
  • Printable specialty lists – print the list of common codes for dozens of specialties including; Ophthalmology, Mental Health, and Primary Care

Check out the ICD-10 Code Lookup today and tell us what you think!
